In the 1960s, Avis -- as part of the We Try Harder campaign -- asked customers to try harder as well. The company had a differentiating feature placed in each of their rental cars; a litter bag intended for customer use! 

This advertisement brings back some memories for the older members of the AutoSlash team, who remember both drive-in movies and the distribution of car litter bags as promotional items, frequently given out at car-related events and fairs! The youngest members of the AutoSlash team aren't familiar with either concept!
